Maybe you should do some research on violent crime stats in this country - ya know, currently - and get back to us. Here's a hint: it's horribly disproportionate.
And before you blame something like poverty, know that lack of money DOES NOT justify or lead to violence in ANY way. I've been flat broke and homeless for periods when I was younger, never once did I consider raping, murdering, robbing, or assaulting anyone.
