I've been in -12 degrees in Colorado, but -4 degrees with 40 mph winds in the Texas panhandle was much worse.

Living in Wisconsin. Low was -13 with a 30 MPH wind.

I've hunted in Michigan, Iowa and Nebraska during the winter, been skiing in Utah and Colorado in minus 15 snowstorms, but I swear, the coldest I've ever felt was during my son's soccer games over the years in January at Burbank or sitting on metal bleachers in the HS stadium.

How do you know what I mean?
Because nothing in your post resembled what you asked in your title.
Just say the coldest PLACE you have ever been.
The "coldest you have ever been" is a state of being, not a location.
And you cannot argue that.

-4 in... I think.. 1989? Working as Ramp Agent in the hub at Fed Ex... was so cold the conveyors quit working. Driving a tug or people mover to the planes was NOT fun. You intentionally drove behind airplanes to get warm from the engine exhaust.
Also... Worked a couple day shifts... well, actually straight through... found out the folks on day shift actually had no clue as to what they were doing.

One day I punched my grandmother in her fat face for stealing some of my birthday candy.
I'm that cold, beehotch.

Whatever. They are just responding to your post the way you responded.
Being in a cold place doesn't necessarily mean you are cold, because of shelter and things.
THAT BEING SAID
The coldest I ever was after riding a water raft ride in early May at Cedar Point where I was wet all day and it was around mid 60s and cloudy. I was probably hypothermic for an hour or so. Scary.
The coldest PLACE I've been is Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, but it only gets cold there in the winter. I was there in the summer.

Was that the coldest you ever were, or just the coldest after riding a water ride?

As per heat, I think air moisture exaggerates the temperature.
Cold in the desert isn't the same as cold in Georgia. The thermometer may read lower but it definitely is worse in humidity.
Maybe that's a non factor if its below freezing for long enough to take moisture out of the air.

Went skiing in Colorado in January of 1999. It was the first week of January, and I don't think it got above 20 degrees the 4 days we were there. Lows down in the single digits each night, and windchill got below zero a couple of times. The sun was pretty much set at 4:45 and it got really cold really quick. We went snow tubing one night and it was the coldest I've ever personally experienced.
The cool thing was the condo we rented had a sauna in it. We would come in from skiing and all take turns in there. There were 5 guys on the trip, and it was a small sauna in the hallway that maybe 3 people could fit in if they were Aggies and liked being close to other nekkid men.

That was the coldest I ever was. Hypothermic for an hour...wet and cold all day...I got to the point where my muscles were getting weak from all the shivering prior.
