High of -6 in Minneapolis today, windchill is like -30.

I believe the coldest I have ever been was around 10 degrees in DC, never seen anything single digits to my knowledge.

How do those folks live up there. I had a buddy who had a great job in Chicago, stayed one winter...moved and said never again

-15 at Fort Drum in upstate NY.

After that 30 degrees feels like summertime.

I have never came close to below zero, let alone double digit below 0.

It's supposed to be 17 here tomorrow morning, that's enough.

Minneapolis

I once took an early February flight from Houston (it was 70 degrees in the morning - ) to Minneapolis - when I landed it was 8 degrees above - I almost didn't make it from the terminal into the taxi.

I don't think it was the single digits (although I do not believe I have been out and about below 0 degrees F) - but the fact that coming from a fairly warm southern climate (for the season) to relatively bitter cold, with wind, snow everywhere - I just wasn't prepared for that.

ETA: Another time, in NYC, it was cold and wet - I was trudging back from the subway station to my hotel at around midnight - also 8 degrees above. That was pretty rough, too.

I think the coldest I've ever been was 8 when I was 8 in 1988. No shite.

I would take 20 degrees over 100 degrees. I like the cold as long as the wind isn't blowing too much.

Probably mid teens here in Louisiana when I was younger. Since I've been an adult, it was 17 degrees when I was in Madison Wisconsin once.

Your title and post do not make sense.

You aren't that cold. The place you are in is that cold.
