Coins are freaking stupid. I rarely carry cash anymore.

This is why I always ask them to round down to the nearest dollar when I buy stuff these days. They can make a donation to feed and put my kids through school. Nobody needs that change.

And this sort of thinking is part of what drives inflation.
We should want coins to be worth a good amount. Printing paper money, adding zeroes to it doesn’t make it actually worth more.
