I kinda of get the complaint. It's too AI cheap feeling. A really good CGI, Polar Express vibe, or real life would have been better. But it's a damn commercial, so why get so worked up?

Since when do monkeys live in places with freaking blizzards and sit in water together in the freezing cold? 
I mean, it is garbage quality and lazy, but who cares. If it cuts advertising costs and brings down prices on the product, go for it.

I agree with this. I don't think anyone thinks it's the end of the world but people would like to see a real truck/sleigh etc or a full on old style cartoon. Not something in between.

Well I like anime cartoons and Disney movies … looks cool to me .. I also have no problem with actors and musicians competing straight up with ai.. every other job is ..

Coke solicited several AI companies to make commercials for them. The others are out there, but I haven't looked them up. This company released their commercial on Xwitter and asked for feedback on it. Fair play to them on that one because the comments weren't pretty.
