You are a fricking idiot.
Anyone with half a brain should understand that it's extremely abnormal for a 14 year old 9th grade student who was supposedly interested in technology and aspired to work for NASA/get accepted into MIT to be manufacturing fricking mechanical bomb clocks in suitcases at his age. I had friends that were run of the mill intelligent kids with similar interests to the ones he claimed and they were doing WAY WAY WAY more advanced things than that in 4th grade and they weren't planning on going to the most prestigious technology school in the USA.
And that doesn't even take into account the fact that, let's be honest, he would've had to have zero social awareness as a muslim kid in this day and age to show up to school in Texas with a foreign object that looked exactly like a movie bomb beeping in his backpack all day. I know that I sure as hell wouldn't show up to an all black school as a white guy in a white robe with a 10 foot tall wooden cross claiming that I had it because "I love Jesus" and expect to not catch shite for it. It amazes me that anyone would stick up for that little douchebag at this point

Whole thing was a Hoax designed to manufacture Islamophobia. How many people in here fell for it?
Yes. That's exactly what it was.
You are never allowed to make fun of anyone about their conspiracy theories again

It was a Hoax.
Ahmed Mohamed’s claims that he assembled a clock at home that he took to school is starting to unravel.
Two investigators who have studied the image of Mohamed’s device provided by Irving, Texas police have concluded that Mohamed did not make the clock. Both conclude that Mohamed disassembled a manufactured clock and installed it in a large pencil box without its casing. And both say it is possible it was done to provoke suspicion or to resemble a bomb.
LINK
Investigative Links showing the whole thing as an activist sham are popping up by the minute on Google News all you have to do peter rabbit is come out of your hole.
You and yours were duped and you made a complete arse out of yourself defending him yesterday, but you were in good company.

If this was some plan to fool the school and world, why would he willfully show it to his first period teacher as a clock?
Better question.
When his first period teacher told him that he should not pull it out and show it to anyone, why in the world would he ignore him, then ignore the 7th period teacher, and the principal, when they told him to put it away?
I'll await a rational answer.

Anybody who has blaze TV and saw the glenn beck program he had the Irving mayor on and it was a setup for islamophobia for retaliation of the mayor who shot down the chance for the Muslim community to have sharia law in Irving earlier in the year.

I think the proper term is trolling. Clock boy and you both have mastered it.

Well, there you go. It's "possible". Cased closed.
By the way, it's also "possible" that the teacher who tuned him in hated Muslims.

So scared of being called a bigot that you are fighting logic.

Because he's mischievous and/or still wanted to show his friends the innards of a clock. I bet more than half of the people here have never seen the innards in real life. AT least not by age of 14. Look, I am a very successful adult and certainly did things behind my teachers' and principals' backs. I even lied to them. Where do I report for my water boarding? I even once called in a bomb scare to my school when I was home "sick". Truth
Now answer my question that you skirted with a question of your own.

AT least not by age of 14.

Y'all are either too scared to be called bigots or too prideful to admit that y'all are a bunch of chumps.

Yeah, this 14 year old with no history of behavior problems and aspirations in life was itching to be arrested.

To allegedly "impress" the engineering teacher (the person he showed it to) who, in turn, told him not to show it to anyone because it would make them nervous. The kid was given some sage advice that he willfully ignored.
