The upgrades look good, but did they triple the price?

I've always liked them....but the comfort level sucked for me.

I must have worn out 15 pair of the maroon low tops in the 90s. I don't like that the stripe is not black on the soles of the new version.

I would love to have these...

The whole point of the redesign was so that they would look the same but offer far more support and comfort. I'm intrigued, tbh.

They're ugly, pooly designed, and usually worn on people that are either slobs or hipsters.
They were cutting edge when they were originally designed. I'm kind of interested to see how the new technology they are incorporating into them improves the comfort.

I'm about to buy some just for deadlifts and squats. They are universally acclaimed by power lifters as the best shoes for these two excervises. I can't wear them around as casual shoes because I need far more heel support.

I like them for squats and deads. Though I hope the fix the issue where my pinky toe feels like its being strangled.

Really? Wearing some old canvas shoes is trying too hard?
I say the mcmansion arms race going on on #3 at Santa Maria between some douchebag attorney and a douchebag financial advisor is trying too hard.

This. & my feet were always freezing cold if I wore those shoes in the winter.
The do look like they have a big price increase. $70 for the lows & $75 for the high.

yup
trying too hard when you are pretending not to try at all. These people care a bunch. And look retarded in their ugly arse uncomfortable shoes.

This. I have a pair of purple and gold ones that I used to wear on gamedays, but they are just way too uncomfortable to be walking in for that long. I will certainly check out the redesign. If that issue has been solved, I may pick up a pair.

I don't understand everyone saying how uncomfortable they are. I've owned a few pairs, and always thought they were very comfortable.
