Christmas Decorations- When do you baws put them up?

Day after Thanksgiving or the first sighting of Christmas decorations going up in my neighborhood, whichever comes first

Never take them down. Just unplug them from timer

The weekend before Thanksgiving my wife has us dragging shite out of storage and getting everything ready to put up. Day after Thanksgiving she starts decorating, it's all up by the end of weekend.
This year is gonna be a blowout Christmas to remember at our house. Our little girl that we adopted 2 years ago is 4 now and this will be the first Christmas where she is fully aware of what all is going on, plus we took in a foster brother and sister age 7 and 9 earlier this year, this will be probably their first good family christmas in their lives and we're going all out spare no expense .

Being in IL it depends on the weather. May go up before thanksgiving but do not get turned on until after.

But if you pay people to do it, good luck. Company we use charges a fee for November, and started doing installs in early October.
