So you're a sheep? Who cares what other people think, put them up when it makes you happy. I laugh at all the people that get upset when people put up their decorations "early". I mean, putting them up October 20th would be odd, but Halloween is over now. Put them up when you want, to hell with what other people think.

There might be a couple of small things (inside) that get put up before Thanksgiving, but the main decorating is done on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Sunday after Thanksgiving they go up. Day after Christmas they go down.

Until Greek orthodox are done in.January.
If I win the lottery my lights will be visible from Alpha Centauri.
I leave my tree up until relatives complain. Late January.
