There's another video of the mob dragging him and kicking him and they stole his phone and dragged him out of the zone

From what I understand from all these peaceful protest, it’s considered peaceful if you threaten people and their families with violence. As long as your not a person in power though.

There is also a video before where he is bringing in one of those massive signs you see “preachers” holding in the French Quarter during Mardi Gras.
I mean, more power to him. But I personally don’t see this as him going down to preach peacefully for people. I’m assuming he wanted this attention which is why he had friends hold cameras the entire time.

The foundation of religion is violence.

I love that he knew exactly what to say to get a small break. “I can’t breathe”
that was clutch.

So you you’re saying people insert themselves into situations hoping to coax a response out of people in authority in the hopes of financial gain???? All under the guise of protest??

Doesn’t matter. They don’t have any actual authority over the area. They’ve turned into the very things they hate. They claim to be an anarchy but have borders and are enforcing rules

Oh, I agree they are stupid. But let’s not pretend this man intentions were to actually peacefully preach when he had a friend constantly film as he was bringing in a giant sign probably telling them they are going to hell.

Right! That had them boxed in a corner for minute.

By definition, preaching is peaceful. If you want to restrict speech based on a third-party's possible violent reaction, you incentivize people reacting violently to speech with which they disagree, in hopes to have it banned.

Progressiveness is the new religion. Human nature doesn't change, people still flock toward religious / spiritual movements / ideas. Whether they're Judaeo Christian, Muslim or whatever. The void and fall of typical religion in America has been filled with progressive and socialist movements. What we are seeing is like a revival movement that would have happened in the past for fundamental Christianity but now for socialism. Even as an atheist I recognize this.

Well maybe your definition of preaching is peaceful, but preaching is actually not defined by also being peaceful. But let’s use your definition of preaching for a moment.
So by you definition, then let’s not call him or what those people do during Mardi Gras preaching, as telling people they will be going to hell if they don’t believe and act as they do is not peaceful. I’m not suggesting that you restrict someone’s speech off the possibility that it can cause a negative reaction. However, if you are purposely “preaching” to cause a negative reaction, it’s not preaching. My opinion is that was this mans intent. Spreading his words to incite violence, probably to try and file a lawsuit against the city which is why he made that after video blaming the mayor. If that’s the case, he wasn’t preaching by your definition.
I again think this Chaz or Chop thing is hilariously stupid. They are taking away from what they are trying to accomplish and probably just hurting their cause. But this man was seeking attention.
