This is probably misleading. It probably took years to negotiate and was in the works well before covid19

China is buying the world. Large swaths of Africa including bribery of corrupt governments. Italy and Europe as well. South America.

As we turn inward China says “thank you very much.” And thanks for buying all our cheap shite the last 50 years.

that said, yes this is ridiculous and just as bad as the time they were going to sell one of our biggest ports to an arab company with ties to terrorists
