I usually only lurk here for the NSFW threads ...

but I was curious on advice for best parking if one would like to eat at Chimes before a LSU game. We usually park south of stadium when we get to go but my wife wants to try Chimes (shes never been) so can anyone offer pointers on best parking area to accomplish that?

TIA
P.s. more NSFW threads guys

There's a guy down the street who charges $20 for you to park in a parking lot that may or may not be his

Park where you normally do & walk over there. Parking in that area will be difficult.

Greek Lot. Walk thru old row parking lot and you are there.

eta: But beware there be Fraternities afoot, lurking for someone to haze.

Park at university Methodist church for $20. They have bathrooms and give you a donation receipt for taxes.

Try one of the churches on Dalrymple near State street--they charge for parking on game days but they're usually pretty safe and the lots are easy to get out of once the game is over. You can cut through the back and walk to the Chimes easily.

Chimes East has plenty of parking. Kind of a long walk to the game though.
