On a similar note, will DPW ever replace Carlotta Street Bridge?

I like the idea, what is the current building on the roof? Office? Storage?

Last time I was there pregame we watched a drunk ole miss sorority girl skip every stair coming out and she knocked out a couple teeth. Blood everywhere. Good times.

I really have wondered how they can get away with those stairs so close to the bar.

Most of try and spend as little time as possible outside when it's been as hot and nasty as it has been lately.

Chimes East is the one that could use expanding. It's a damn wrestling match to get a drink in there.

cautiously optomistic, Weather in South Louisiana isn't conductive to open air eating or drinking, either misquitoes tearing you up, or the heat, humidity, and just the sun bearing down on you, makes it a hard thing to do in Louisiana.
When something pretty obvious isn't being currently done, it is normally because someone else has tried it and realized it doesn't work.

I just disagree

Manhattan honestly has really bad weather for rooftop bars (brutal winters AND hot humid summers) yet they are unbelievably popular there

Charleston has a ton of rooftop bars and they are basically like us climate wise

I dont think BR can blame the weather for lack of rooftop bars/restaurants

Not gonna lie, I hung out on the roof of the building across the street multiple times when I worked there and it was pretty awesome.

It can be done. Fans and misters for summer, heaters and fireplaces for winter. We’ve got quite a few here and it’s hotter and just about as humid. They’re typically always crowded.

Hg sply is busy year round. Just apparently not in this picture.
