They spend all their time complaining to the manager and blogging, so they don’t have time to spend parenting

I’m just happy I’m oblivious to mom bloggers. Sounds terrible.

anytime my wife starts a conversation with "I read on my neighborhood mom group facebook page that...", I immediately tune her out.

Is it a necessary that all mom bloggers have terrible kids?

Well, kind of.... One of the golden rules of storytelling is "Only trouble is interesting." If you're writing as a mom, someone defined by children, then writing about your f---ed up kids is one of the go-to moves. Who wants to read about some Stepford wife making oatmeal cookies with her goody-goody spawn?

My wife and I have countless friends who blog about being a mother. The most mundane shite, too. Ryleigh gets tummy aches. So as a mom what do I do? Well, I comfort her.

To people like Kibblez, mom blogging is a full-time job LITERALLY.

I know of a chick from my hometown (she's friends with my best friend from high school and his family, but I don't know her) who does it as a full time job, and she somehow managed to get on Steve Harvey's daytime talk show a couple of years ago.

You make a valid point.

I also think they create and exacerbate a lot of their kids’ issues. Because without that they won’t get that dopamine rush from the attention. They don’t want to really fix the issues, because that would make them address the flaws in themselves and then take away their victimhood

My daughter has a friend whose mother is a mid-level mommy blogger. She's popular local, and has enough readership that she gets invited to some things for mommy bloggers - but she is definitely envious of the big timers.

The mom was runner up Miss Mississippi in her day. Her daughter is a complete tomboy and wants nothing to do with the pageant scene. The husband works all the time - my theory is to escape the crazy of his wife. My wife believes its to keep up appearances.

In the past six years, they have built three houses. The last is a Joanna Gaines ripoff. Its beautiful but it was built just for her blog. They are so in debt its not even funny, so her new series is getting serious with the Dave Ramsey plan.

Who the hell has time to read all their stupid crap?

What’s so special or fascinating about their lives?

They spend all their time ... blogging

Yeah, its pretty much a given that any time spent blogging, means someone isn't actually participating in the parenting process. Thereby, negating anything that they just blogged about
