Oh, yes! Tigerdroppings indeed must be one of the most hateful Anti Catholic websites on the internet.

It's evident on a daily basis.

but they are not allowed to discuss what is revealed in confession to anyone.

They also arent allowed to diddle little kids. Im sorry but that Catholic Church doesnt get the benefit of the doubt anymore in regards to whether or not they actually do/dont do what they are supposed to.

It's not "ignorance". It's absolute hate - outright fanatical hate.

I believe the sole root of Catholic Priests not being able to marry is for the fact that long ago many were creating a dynasty to enrich their family and nepotism (Joel Osteen). By not allowing to marry it was to stop this.

This is demonstrably not part of the Catholic church’s beliefs

My sister is catholic and one of the worst human beings you'd ever meet. She will do awful selfish things to family and then goes to confession and all is forgiven in the eyes of the lord.

There is a lot about religion that is upsetting to me. Anyone can find the lord and be welcomed to heaven. Child molesters, rapist, murders. You wouldn't believe how prevalent religion becomes in prison.

The claim the priest broke the seal of confession is a major red flag. That is something that just doesn’t happen. The penalty is severe both earthly and in the after life.

Whats the penalty for pedophiles? Or do they just receive a get out of hell free card for that one?

Your SISTER? Your actual sibling ?

That's very sad. I sympathize with you.

I can't find any substantiation of this allegation of yours anywhere in the links that you provided.

Could you fix that, please?

Having a child out of wedlock isn’t a sin. Premarital sex is. People do that all the time.
It is pretty good evidence that the sin took place and the person in a leadership position violated the rules.
I am not RC, but your position is just not logical. And the concealment of the parentage of this child deepens this sin. That guy could no longer be trusted in such a position. This is basically administrative logic.
As to the alleged violation of the confession, this is a uniquely Roman Catholic issue which they need to sort out and then address in a credible manner or nobody will trust them in the future. That is a thorny issue for them.

This whole thread should get ax’d imo. The only “info” on it is a petition to reinstate the guy where it clearly says they are speculating that it is about a child out of wedlock.

This guy could have been embezzling $ for all we know.

Is this a bad thing? They're most in need of God's mercy.

Jesus didn't say it would be easy or pleasing. In fact, the opposite.

And Jesus said this would be through his Church. Though yes in a sense you are correct, God's grace is limitless and can reach us any way He wills it.

Oh christ on a cracker as this is the thread of all the millions of shitty threads to get the axe

Never in the history of TD have there been threads about speculation of any kind. You should delete your post for speculating that he could’ve been embezzling.

You misspelled Constantine. And Catholics claim Jesus founded it, he just left Peter in charge.

This thread is already anchored. OP started this with principal was fired bc priest tattled after confession which he provided nothing substantiating that claim. We no idea why the principal was fired or if he was even fired or if he resigned. Then it quickly just turned into the usual bash the Catholics thread.
