We are childless not by choice. Tried for years and years. Spent countless amounts of money just to have heartache and pain. Decided after that to just let it go. But now honestly, I couldn't see having one. The way the world is now, I don't think I'd want to raise a child. Plus its nice to pick up and do whatever we want when ever we want. If you marry your bestfriend and lover, will you ever be lonely in life? Well I guess one of us will when the other goes, but at that point we have enough nieces and nephews fighting over our money to take care of us I guess lol.
But no, children are not crotch goblins or terrible things. Children are a joy to be around. But its nice to be around them for a bit and then send them back to their parents.

I'm not sure of the reason but if I didn't have children I would be a near millionaire with zero responsibility.

They are fighting the societal pressure to have children and many will act like they are brave for it.
I always find it ironic that people who don’t want to have children are only here because their parents didn’t think that way.

I've never seen it, but I assume it's mostly fat, ugly women posting that because they can't find a man who will put up with their shite long enough to be in a relationship and sire children. So eventually they try to take the power back and pretend that it was actually a choice of their to be forever single and not have kids.

If they phrase it that way, they are usually the hipster liberal edgy types.
I know a lot of people that don't want to have kids because of inflation, the treatment of fathers/husbands as second class citizens by American society,structural economic instability, and the lack of quality partners. They don't necessarily "hate" children.

People today seem to feel they have to have an extreme view on one or the other polar opposite sides of any issue, and crow about it to anyone who will listen or click. Militant #childfree people and “my kids are my WORLD” people are each as insufferable as the other.
