Which one is better? I find Chicago is often overlooked but is very much a world city like NYC. If they got into a fight who would win?

Both are amazing cities.
Chicago is more my speed though. I have a place in west loop. Love that area.

1. Lived in NYC for 2 years. Spent 6 weeks in a Chicago. NYC is better for many reasons.

My uncle used to go to Chicago on business once a month. In winter he had to dodge ice falling off the buildings.

Getting lost in Southside Chicago could be a death sentence. Can't say that about any part of NYC.

I have to disagree with you. Chicago is a great city! Certain parts are horrible.
Wrigley field and the surrounding sports bars (high tops) are awesome
Taste of Chicago in June is awesome.
Maybe you need to re-visit.

Chicago is nothing like NYC.
NYC is disgusting and smells horrible because everyone puts their trash out on the street.
Chicago has alley ways for that. Much cleaner city
