The Chicago Department of Public Health has restricted travel to six states, including Louisiana, as the country continues to see a steady increase in new COVID-19 cases.

Florida, Louisiana, Nevada, and the U.S. Virgin Islands were added on July 20.

Missouri and Arkansas were added last week.

States placed on the “orange list” average 15 or more new cases per day per 100,000 residents.

I guess the chance of being shot in Chiraq is more favorable than getting a virus with less than a 1% kill rate

Rampant and uncontrolled crime and murder still permissible.

And of course there is zero way to actually enforce any of this.

That’s interesting because I have recently decided to permanently restrict myself from ever traveling to Chicago

Unvaccinated individuals traveling from the states on the “orange list” are advised - not required - to test negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours prior to arriving in Chicago or must quarantine for 10 days upon arrival.

I flew from NOLA to Chicago this morning. No mention whatsoever of these new restrictions.

Most of the country is restricting trips to Chicago due to dangerous gusts of lead.

Not that I had any plans to go, but good luck on that, you can’t do that kind of thing in ‘Merica.

To be fair, they said "advised, not required." They already answered your question.
