Less than $74k with steel rotors which I prefer because I track cars enough I don't want to be replacing carbon ceramic rotors.

So I did an official "///M" day at COTA last year. They had different stages for us to do with a little down time if you were on one of the quicker ones. I'm randomly walking around checking out the couple of million of dollars worth of M cars they have set out for the next station swap, when I see the head driving instructor just kind of pacing and shaking his head and looking for a soundboard. So I ask him "what's up?" He goes on to tell me that someone was in such awe of the ceramic rotors that they poked their finger through the wheel to feel it... and burned the shite out of their finger on something in the process. Not sure if they sent the person to the er or not, but he just had this, 'I'm going to have to deal with this shite later' feeling about him. Funny shite.

A neighbor just traded his white Honda Ridgeline for a black Ford Raptor.

Bit of a change of pace. Must be getting divorced or something.

I don’t see anything wrong with it, looks good to me. Not for me to drive because i don’t like or have a need for anything like that. But if some dumbass wants to drop 83,000 on a truck, more power to them. Who am I to judge them

if people only knew just how little it actually cost to build a vehicle like that and how high the markup cost is

more power to the manufacture's and the dealerships for getting rich off of idiots willing to take out a mortgage to buy a damn truck most of which will never truly need

I bet it only cost about $15k to build it.

and that's on the high end (counting advertising dollars, etc.) ... Chevy pumps those trucks out at $8-12k per truck to the dealerships and they both get rich off of all the plant workers who "need" a jacked up, pickup truck for $60k.

low IQ idiots

You could at least say it’s a 2500 LT with a Turbo Duramax diesel...with every bell and whistle..

You act like it’s a regular 1500 Z71..

I don’t think it’s a bad looking truck, but no way 83k...

Why would they waste all those upgrades on a 3/4 ton truck instead of getting the extra payload capacity with a full ton single rear wheel for a thousand more?

3/4 ton is fine for weekly runs to Costco or Sam’s.

It’s crazy what pick up trucks have become

It is funny because I see older people still driving old "compact" pick-up trucks from 20-30 years ago that still do everything they need them to do. Modern pick-ups have gotten insane.

It's plastic, thin body metal, a few electronic boards, and wires. They make 200 vehicles in a day and most of the parts are made overseas by cheap labor. There is no way it costs more than 15k for them to build it. Common sense.
