Yeah that’s just not my experience with GM trucks. After 75k miles they are barely broken in.

This will always be the GOAT body style for the Tahoe and Suburban.

Red Tahoe looks like they copied the new expedition

Is it a full frame like the truck still?

Yes. It’s a real SUV.

I have no idea why car companies today insist on these huge grille front ends when they look ugly af.
That Z71 version looks like it’ll roll over while making a left-hand turn.

Man I was always a fan of the mid late 90s square body’s. Those old 2 door z71 Tahoe’s were bad arse.

Looks just like the expedition, except maybe it grew up without a dental plan

I had one and wish I had never gotten rid of it. I loved that thing.

So they went back to using the silverado front end. Bad choice.
Yep.
No idea why they did that other than to save some money. It's better to differentiate them a bit.

Ppl buying won't care. If you can cut a check for $90k for a new Suburban, you're not going to be concerned with it falling apart. You'll buy a new one.
I can't imagine a better road trip machine than one of those totally decked out.

The OP didn't mention this with the picture show.
And it's the big news for some;
These new vehicles are more revolutionary than evolutionary because they have a new independent rear suspension. This increases cargo space and legroom in the second and third rows, with the Tahoe claiming a 10-inch increase in third-row legroom. Each has a longer wheelbase than its predecessor, too.

quote:Such a shame they’re doing away with the solid rear axle.
It has a fully independent suspension with an adjustable ride height to maximize off road capability

I’m sure you’ve all seen some older vehicles riding on the bump stops after those systems fail.
Lincolns were notorious for this.

Such a shame they’re doing away with the solid rear axle. The absolute last thing I want is that electronic ride height garbage.
That’s the future for larger off road vehicles. This enables them to ride at their normal height on the highway (and for the EPA fuel economy loop) and still be taken off pavement.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee, Ram 1500, Toyota Land Cruiser and the Range Rover all have a system like that.

I don’t think those were adjustable. Just shitty.
