Hell even McDonald’s French fries apparently had traces of meat back when they were awesome.
Now to this,
I am not a vegan, could never be a vegan, but how can you ban a vegan? They can come in, order a dish and eat everything that is not meat... And boom.. A vegan just snuck in.
In my experience, they tell everyone at each and every opportunity that they are a vegan.

I am not a vegan, could never be a vegan, but how can you ban a vegan? They can come in, order a dish and eat everything that is not meat... And boom.. A vegan just snuck in.

I set up a monthly dinner for about 25 people, 3 of them are vegans, I spend 20% of the time taking care of the menu for 22 people, 80% dealing with the damn vegans. And then they bitch because they don't think they should have to pay as much as the others.
Vegan = pain in the arse diva.

He's making a "ban" because he's tired of having to cater to vegans' demands. The only way to "sneak" in as a vegan is to keep your mouth shut and eat what's given to you. Which is what he wants.

Glad it has worked out for this restaurant owner, but I can’t for the life of me see why any business would take a political stance on anything…you instantly run the risk of alienating half of your customers.

Can say I only know of 2 people who claim to be vegan. One is an extended member of the family and the other was an eye doctor I visited a few years ago to get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses.
During the course of the initial exam the Dr. just had to mention she was a vegan. That tidbit of information came out of the blue and it immediately put a cause to her sickly, gaunt appearance.

Weird cult of hyper demanding douche bags. We have a menu. If there is nothing on there that fits your insane dietary needs; then kick rocks and go elsewhere. We don’t care if this “inconveniences” you.
Modern women are becoming insufferable.

He simply forgot about her, he did make her another vegan meal which she accepted. Then she posted her one-star review to a vegan FB group and they started brigading his restaurant with one-star reviews. Stupid bitch enlisted a bunch of her mentally ill liars to hurt his business. the issue is people are intolerant of mistakes, or having empathy when a mistake happens. everyone waits for that "Gotcha Moment" to feel superior.
