I tried to help him out, so I bought him a weighted blanket. So far it has not helped one bit. $100 down the drain. He is hiding in the closet panting and whining.

The fireworks are just too much for him to take.

We’ve got the most high strung chihuahua/border collie on the planet and he could literally give 2 shits if it sounds like Mogadishu right outside his kingdom

Thank god mine doesn’t give a shite. He’s sleeping on my feet and we went on a walk earlier.

My last dog wanted to commit suicide every new year and 4th of July.

If this happens with fireworks & thunderstorms often ask your vet for ACE

Consider yourself lucky. I dread July 4th and New Years eve for this reason.

+1

Both of my dogs are asleep. Knocked out in their doggy beds on the floor.

Nah,

It's cold. He is chilling in the downstairs bathroom. I just went down there and he just wagged his tail and said "hey baw, I'm good for the night. Turn off the light"

I've never had a dog freak out from fireworks. Mines currently ptfo paws in the air with zero fricks to give.

They can blow through ace, though. Heart rate gets up, or they get excited and it quits working.

At least horses can.

I think I have the only dogs that aren't scared of them. One of mine will go outside and take a shite in a lightning storm. I've never seen a dog do that

My dogs are kind of derpy. Just got back from a walk where they went ape shite over the music at the Armenians’ house and just look around at the fireworks. God help us when someone walks by the house. They going tearing after it like they can run through the door Scooby Doo style.

We used to have a pom and she would freak the frick out. Not sure how but every new years I would have to cut up the wood gate on the back deck to get her head out of the slats.
