In this country the most tribal racism comes from blacks.

Charlie was labeled a far right racist. He was killed.

yes it was, but in terms of all political violence (the senators in Minnesota, Senator John Hoffman and his wife, Yvette, school shootings, etc. It wasn't only Charlie Kirk)

Also, was attendance up?
I attend a Catholic Mega Church in the burbs of Houston. Attendance is always up

Charlie wasn't mentioned to my surprise, but I noticed more in attendance, with plenty having to stand in the back, not Christmas or Easter level, but much more than a regular Sunday. Perhaps the biggest surprise was the amount of high school and college aged kids that were there, not with their families but in groups with their peers.

Yeah, if you’re telling someone who thinks they’re a two spirit asexual butch dragon kin furry that there are only two genders, that’s going to sound controversial

Pastor Steve said he was pausing the current series for the first time ever, the whole sermon was about the last 14 days and the spiritual warfare.

My take:
Christians are being killed by psychopaths radicalized by social media and MSM. Then American media cheers them on.

seems you should respect no pastor.

No, he wasn't mentioned. Attendance was same as always.

mentioned and discussed, but if dovetailed perfectly on the topic that was to be discussed anyway. attendance was about the same. no politicalization--just talked about how we as Christians are to function and submit to a government we may not agree with. pointed out what was going on in Rome when Paul wrote the letter--followers were literally being burned for lighting at parties, contrasted with our ability to meet w/o fear.

Charlie Kirk's assassination was weaved into the sermon, but the pastor didn't change what his topic was going to be it just related anyway. If that hadn't been the case, I bet our pastor would have changed the sermon.

Attendance seemed up, but we usually have good attendance, so it's hard to say for sure. Our membership is growing because our pastor actually preaches Biblical truth.

That’s it. Mass did not cover CK.

The point is it shouldn’t take a man dying for you to show up to get some God in you. This isn’t a recruiting tool, a man lost his life and his kids have no father.

This board is full of them. Notice your DV to UV ratio. You didn't say anything to offend anyone, and only stated your feelings, and yet you get DV to hell and back (har har.)
