The funny thing is he refers to both ideologically indoctrinated sides, but both sides will only interpret it as applying to the other side.
One of the hallmarks of an ideologue of any stripe is an inability or unwillingness to self-reflect and an utter aversion to ascribe any shortcomings at all to their particular side. Everything will be projected onto the opposing side.

Chuck says it and he's right. I (and others) say the design has been rigged to make the Anerican public fight against ourselves while they sit in an Ivory Tower laughing is met with vitriol.

I agree.
But real talk, each side relies on their ability to divide by what works and what does not. Finding the sweet spot.
If you want the public to cosign on a governmental goal, you make it a morality play. That's how it's accepted and spun. Religion, race, war, peace, civilian rights, equal rights, security, fear,life and death. It's now to a point we can never put the genie back in his/her/its bottle.

Absolutely. I just wish there was a realistic way of putting that genie back in the bottle per say. The amount of division building in this country is concerning.
