I am pretty sure it was filmed at Martha’s Vineyard. They even had the “jaws bridge “ there.

You may be right. It was either filmed in Chatham and set in MV or the other way around. I always confuse it.

The beach in Croatia I couldn't disagree more

You’ve never been to Croatia or outside of the continental US for that matter. You are a pathetic try hard loser whose every post is a sad and feeble attempt to impress people you will never meet on an anonymous message board. You are a loser in life and everyone agrees and is sick of you and your embarrassing rhetoric.

I like going to the beach once every 10 years or so for about a day. It’s been at least 25 years since the last time. Y’all can have my spot.

Mountains > Beach, and it ain’t even close.

Nantucket stays a little too cold for my taste. Went for the Nantucket Food and Wine Festival this year and could hardly wear shorts. Not beach weather but a nice place.

I love the beach while observing through my sliding glass doors from my air conditioned condo while I down another cold beer. Frick the sand.

I am not a fan of the beach.
I'm pale. Hairy. And I grew up with gulf shores or Pensacola vacations.

However, a friend's camp in grande isle that is more personal with great fishing is Devine.

To be in the Mediterranean on an exotic coast is memorable.
To visit a Maine beach and catch lobster is fantastic.
To stand on a pebbles filled rock beach in Ireland changes your view.
To see the high climbing cliffs of Oregon or Washington are great. Collecting mussels and such.

Every single example can be done with an umbrella and a chair just enjoying the sounds of waves.

There is always a plus and a minus to each trip. Live your own life. Vida Pura beb

I'll admit it, I have a legit fear of sharks and I trace it back to when I was a kid we went to Biloxi and I was on a raft in the water and my brother pulled me out, what felt like really far from shore and there were dolphins in site.

My brother told me they were sharks and they looked like they were getting closer. I had seen jaws before this so I was scared AF. When we finally made it back and I was crying, my parents told me it was dolphins.. But that moment stuck with me. And I just never felt comfortable going in the ocean or gulf so I am not at all a fan of beaches. Sure, as I got older I went to the beach with friends, but didn't go in the water.

I just feel like there are better things to get into than the beach.

Late May to early august, absolutely. The crowds make it no where near fun. April-late May and early august to late September it’s fantastic.
