My grandmother was big into making ceramics, so I have all kind of ceramic Christmas decorations- lighted trees, nativity scenes, Santa mugs etc.
She also made some breast mugs (rounded mug with nipple), but I don’t know whatever happened to them.

I have the one from my Grandparents as well. It’s got to be over 50 years old as I’m 55 and remember it from every Christmas. It’s white with multicolored lights. I’ve lived in fear of losing too many of the little colored bulbs and having to put it in a corner with the missing holes in the back like a skimpy Christmas tree.
I had no idea they were this common. I’ve never seen many of these at other peoples houses. Thought ours might have been if not unique then at least uncommon. Good to know I can buy the bulbs.
Who in the actual F would consider these trashy and why? It’s not like it’s a Marlboro Christmas scene sign on black velvet. Geez

My family had one when I was growing up. I have fond memories of many things Christmas and these ceramic trees is one of them. I have one now that I think my wife had when I met her. It's in our living room decor right now.

My Maw Maw had one of those ceramic trees. The last section was a cigarette lighter which we kids thought was cool and odd because Maw Maw never smoked.

They break easily. I know because after Mom yelled at me "DON'T THROW THE FOOTBALL IN THE HOUSE!" I threw the football in the living room and hit the ceramic tree that Maw Maw made for us at the Nursing Home.
It broke into a hundred pieces when it hit the Terrazzo floor.
I took my punishment like the little man I was back then.

Not trashy. They’re a classic Christmas decoration.

Buy some blanks from Michael’s and let the kids paint them. That’s what we did and I love putting them out each year
