Old school butts in seats guy. I was excited to see him care for change lol, but this is how it went.

Basically a locker room pep talk about how we’re not going to let this beat us or our ‘team’. We’re going to stand up by showing up for work everyday and contributing 100% to the company and our goals. We’re bigger than this and will beat it with fight and adversity!!!!!! lol.

You’ve should’ve seen the melt on the millineal faces....nothing funnier.

So what happens if 50% of the team gets sick and is down (not working) for two weeks? Would working from home had been a better option? Worth the risk?

Sorry you're not smart enough to do your job without your supervisor hovering over you

There are reasons why major corporations are going to work from home/no business travel policies.

His old school attitude can't stop his employees from getting sick

You're really on a crusade about sitting at your desk all day. Is this the 3rd thread you've started about it?

I mean I get it, I like to get out of my house and be at the office, but I work with a bunch of people who work from home and everything runs fine.

It's kind of weird how much you are into sitting at a desk in the office.

Someone is going to run to twitter.

Your CEO will be publicly apologizing by noon tomorrow.

Im 100% more productive working from home, where my coworkers arent making Wuhon fever jokes and constantly spouting out the newest news headline. If I can do that while also curving the spread of disease, it doesn't really make sense to go to the office.

If you need your boss breathing down your neck to do your job, thats a you problem not a millenial problem

We have a 3:30 mandatory meeting/call. I kind of expect the same thing. If its not I will be disappointed.

The one wild card is spring break is next week for my kids and there is already two schools closed in the Dallas area over this - St. Rita and Ursuline. I wouldn't be surprised if the kids break is extended.

It's because people who think like this have wrapped all of their self-worth up in work. Not relationships, not hobbies, not likes/dislikes...work.

Therefore, they beat their chest to the tune of "I've never taken PTO or a sick day in 35 years" as if it's a medal for the defense of Stalingrad against the Nazi hoards.

Kind of sad, really
