Of course it's discriminatory. All laws are discriminatory. This one is discriminatory against people whose profession or business involves gathering dozens to hundreds of people together all at once, because there is a legitimate government interest in keeping large groups of people from congregating at this time.

Law is closely tied to politics and we have this perverse concept that everyone is entitled to respect for their political opinions (which is laughable), so amateur opinions about law get lumped in.

Imagine if the next Gov declares a state of emergency due to gun violence or abortions. And applies these same principles. I think everyone should heed the warnings but idiots have the right to be idiots. No?

Was this official information??
I remember when it was first put out there that it dies in warm weather, soon after there were more reliable sources that were saying "we do not know if warm weather will have an impact on this virus".
You have those all day news channels getting anyone they can do interview so they have people on there who spread non confirmed information..
My rule is to stick to the CDC as the main source for any coronavirus related information.
