I live in west Austin - plenty of Californians have arrived since 2010. Their political leanings tend to be evenly split. Most lean right fiscally and left socially.

Texas and Florida gained seats because of the influx of people moving from Democratic states. And those people won't be having some political epiphany upon relocation - they'll continue voting blue.

Texas and Florida will wind up being solid blue states within our lifetime.

LMFAO there are more people living in the DFW metroplex than all of Louisiana. And we got you guys beat by a couple of million.

And if a fight broke out, just what we have within 80 miles of i10 would be more than sufficient to make texas wish we were as forgiving as Mexico.

Wasn't Lake Charles doing pretty well before getting pounded by hurricanes last year?

They stayed in the metro area though. Pretty standard throughout most of the country as suburbs spread around that time with the interstates going in

Nice work Illinois!

Right up there with Mississippi and West Virginia is always where you want to be when it comes to state statistics.

Btw. Pritzker (Illinois Gov) has officially blamed this on........ kids going to college out of state due to better scholarship offers.

Yes, that’s right. THAT is what is driving down Illinois population
