My son is playing baseball this spring and for his age group they have a pitching machine. I haven’t been to celebration station since 2000 but they had a lot of people there. I paid for 30 minutes and every couple of pitches it stopped working. I got my refund and went to Hitters House and paid $20 more than celebration station. Where is Skip Bertman’s batting cages when you need them.

Lmao. Somebody's kid's team doesn't have their own facilities. You can kiss The Show goodbye son. May as well get him on a soccer team.

Buy a tennis ball machine. He can crush those without needing to be in a cage.

Sorry your kid (easy out) can’t handle the high heat at Celebration Station.

Prayers sent for Braedyn and his suffering fam, who never shall experience the joys of sponging off their successful relative.

The wild pitches on the fast mode will make a man out of him. The bat isn’t for hitting, but rather staying alive

Dude, you don’t go to Celebration Station for practice. It’s for fun. That’s like going to goofy golf to practice your putting.

If he doesn’t have a private trainer by age 7 he has no shot at the big league

I know a trashy guy that has a travel ball kid and they have a tennis ball machine in a cage in their backyard and he hits with a weighted training stick that is a thin bat. Like broom handle thin and really heavy. I remember those when I played baseball as a kid, but only for warming up on deck.

This is much quieter than hitting real baseballs and much cheaper. And the kid can rake apparently.

I'm sure he'll be pushing pyramid scheme shite on Facebook in 10 years like his mother.

ETA:

This is my wife's former co-worker's kid. We went to their house for a work BBQ once and I tried it out. It was tough . Tennis ball machine has a lot more velocity than you'd think.

I meant to type Bertman thanks for pointing that out. That was the whole point to go there for fun. He wanted to play the arcade games, putt golf, and the batting cages. He is not doing travel ball, he doesn’t have a travel ball name, or trying to get a baseball scholarship. He just wants to play baseball and have fun. I should have known better the raggedy rusty pitching machine there was going to be crap. I was just trying to give him a feel for a pitching machine since that is what they are using this year.
