This video pretty much sums up Deep Ellum these days. Looks like the Black contingent definitely got the best of the Latino contingent in that incident.

He didn’t even see it coming. He thought he was fighting the other dude.

Yeah. I wanted to go to Pecan Lodge after I moved to North Texas. I went at 10:45 am one Saturday and got in line. Was ok that time of day but I wouldn’t want to go there after dark or for any sort of large gathering.

I always thought Irish people liked to fight?

St Patrick wasn’t Irish. He was British and captured by Irish pirates to be a slave in Ireland. Years later he found god, escaped, went home where he became a priest. He then went back to Ireland to convert the pagans to Christianity.

You responded with the Irish people liking to fight comment to a post that included the below specifically questioning what St Patrick’s feelings would be on the fighting, so I just thought you had lumped him in with Irish people. Not a big deal and most do think of it as being about the Irish, but the comment in the tweet was also valid.

BRAWL: Several people knocked out in the streets of Dallas during this weekend's St. Patrick's Day celebration.

I'm sure St. Patrick the missionary would truly appreciate how these folks are choosing to remember him.
