Any chance this impacts the building trades on large commercial projects ? I'm on a school right now, probably 200 or so people on an average day.

I don't believe the intent is to shut down any place where 50 people may be present.
So what's the point ... I am not an expert so I have no opinion either way but if you make those exceptions then the recommendations are useless .. instead of spreading it a local concert your spreading it at schools and businesses ... Either it's important to stop the spread or it's not ... But this middle ground seems kinda wierd to me

I don't agree with all of these recommendations so I 'm not defending them.
However, if you work at a plant where 100 others work that isn't a place where the general public comes and goes. IE it's not like people from all different places coming together to see a movie or go to a concert.
I assume that's the reasoning but I believe most of this is post Katrina government panic and all agencies feel they have to do "something" to show they are responding. I can't tell you how many useless emails I have gotten at work about this.
