FFS are we going to wear surgical gloves? Do folks know how to scrub, don and remove gloves properly to avoid possible exposure?
I know how.

The countries that have flattened the curve wear masks. That’s a fact
Folks in China wear masks all the time.
Fact?

South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong
I don’t trust anything China says one way or the other.

I saw this college kid in some arty anime designer mask. Not sure why, but this guy really annoyed me.

I don't know why.
But, I instinctively avoid people in surgical masks.

Tons of people are making masks right now. Even if they aren’t medical grade, it should help.
This. Wife (no pics) is down stairs sewing away. They're going to give them to a local hospital.
Snagged a sweet red polka dotted one for myself though. Tried it on for grins with a Zoom class we did this morning and that shite's tight. Hard to breath. Fogged up the glasses. Ain't no corona gettin' in that one.

Yeah, this isn’t feasible with supplies right now. Saw a few Karens with masks and gloves at Kroger today.

I have a respirator with some 3M P100 filters somewhere. are those effective against the China flu?
Posted on 3/28/20 at 1:39 pm to tigerskin
South Korea already wears masks due to air pollution. The countries where curve has flattened have had it longer and the government controls their media and their medical community.
Posted on 3/28/20 at 1:39 pm to tigerskin
I see the surgical mask industry has infiltrated the CDC. Wonder how big their “donation” was for that type of headline?
Posted on 3/28/20 at 1:42 pm to fightin tigers
Thanks. I might have to find them. They've never been used and still in packaging.
