I'd argue that they don't give a damn how people vote....they give a damn about clicks and ad dollars, and the simple truth doesn't generate near as many of either.
You should look up how many former Clinton and Obama campaign workers and associates are working for the tv news networks as editors and producers. CNN, CBS and ABC have several. It will make you pause.

Chickenshit take.
His colleague even told him to stop resisting earlier in the video. Is she with Police? Is she an undercover cop?

I don't disagree with the sentiment here, but if he clearly wasn't resisting why do they feel compelled to edit that out?
And I've got no idea, because im not watching those fricking videos.

Possibly but I think the video shows clearly that Floyd was uncooperative. Also there was a black cop present.
This was NOT a racially motivated event of any sort.
And fwiw, 70% of arrests in this country are arrests of white people. Hardly indicative of systemic racism in law enforcement

The media needs a pot to stir so they need division. It’s in their financial interest to keep us divided. if we are united, the pot disappears.
Social media and clicks are what drive the sales so they need headlines that excite.
Dividing along racial lines is the low hanging fruit.

Ever notice that our media doubles down on this effort on election years?

If the platform doesn’t get people out to vote, fear usually does the trick.
Same reason abortion cropped up every four years in the 1990’s and early 2000’s.

I hadn’t noticed but it makes sense
Bottom line here for people to know
The media is not impartial. Impartial does not create clicks. They need a fight so where one doesn’t exist, they’ll create one

I ain't said shite about race.
just about the term "stop resisting" used as a CYA tool.

I think this is further indictment of the officers involved.

But he was resisting.
Almost all of the woke videos of dindus are resisting at some point when they are killed by the popo. George Floyd does not deserve to be dead but he doesn't deserve a halo either. He went out as a POS.

I’m 2 days late hearing this news and it’s truly infuriating and I will never trust another media platform for as long as I live. It’s truly disgusting.

So, they edited it out. You were trying awfully hard to defend them. Glad you admitted it.

Hang them all by the neck until dead.

What were the cops supposed to do in this situation? Floyd was a huge man. He behaved like a toddler and was clearly resisting. He wasn’t even listening to their commands which were as simple as “get in the vehicle”. He’s on drugs and works himself up and when the officers held him down he then becomes serious about not being able to breathe. From what I saw in the video the only way the officers could have avoided jail time was to let him go or pay a bit more attention to him when he went limp? Idk. I’d hate to be a cop.

For 8 minutes 45 seconds after those “clips” an officer placed his knee on this American citizens neck. After he stopped “resisting arrest”. That’s murder.
Anyone who has to take an oath of office to perform their job must be held to a higher tankard than their fellow citizens.

Do what the police tell you to do and there won’t be no shite.

Sort of the way thugs use "I can't breathe" as a tool?

Certainly cut out of all the videos months ago. You know, about the time all this shite started!?

Because we all know summarizing the events of what happened conveys the exact same message as showing exactly what happened.
That’s why ray rice and Greg hardy had the exact same punishment from the nfl and backlash from fans right?

Years ago I was working in the nuclear power plant industry. About that time a 60 Minutes segment aired about the, of course, negative side and dangerous side of the industry (This wasn't long after Chernobyl, so the story line was certainly plausible).
I got to see a put together documentary about that interview/story from the nuclear side. It showed the ENTIRE interview of the nuclear expert and showed the parts that were aired on TV and what wasn't.
An example would be:
Interviewer: "Are you concerned about the safety of the nuclear power plants in America?"
Nuclear expert: "We always are concerned about safety. It's our job to protect Americans and we do all we can to study and make sure we all working together to help us all be safe for everyone. No one wants accidents to occur."
What was televised:
"We are concerned about safety, Accidents occur."
