Are you suggesting that every activity that leads people to being at the hospital should be treated with the same malice as this frothy-mouthed reaction about refusal to get vaccines?

No, I am saying that the alternative to getting vaccinated is ending up in a hospital forcing someone else to take care of you (since you are unable to take care of yourself at this point) and occupying a bed that could be better served to someone else

My company literally sends nurses out to the community to beg our diabetics in the poor parts of Nola to take their meds. We have an entire workforce dedicated to this called Population Health

They dont, and end up in the hospital

You going to shite talk them? That is FAR more of an issue than covid vaccines

The same people that take of care of the morbidly obese dem plantation occupants, but I'm guess you're not interested in trying to shame that group into changing their habits

The hospitals are more than equipped to handle these people pre-covid, and they are not contagious. Whats your point? Were fats inundating hospitals before covid?

Agreed, this issue should 100% be addressed and handled. But the issue now is with a contagious disease that risks potentially inundating hospitals with sick people in need of urgent care

The assumption that every case of COVID leads to an extensive hospital stay is completely retarded. It's your assumption also that this person is taking up a bed that someone else could be occupying? Did I miss where every hospital is at full capacity?

This is the kind of nonsensical mindset/narrative that drives most normal people absolutely batshit.

in Baton Rouge who is against the vaccine and says he would rather get sick and be hospitalized again than take the vaccine. This is a must watch.

He'd rather go to a fricking hospital, deal with losing his taste/smell for God knows how long, and potentially have to get on a ventilator than get a shot.

Someone's priorities are off.

It didn't happen last year, and you think it's gong to happen now when at a minimum almost half of the population is vaccinated, plus all the people that already got or died from COVID?

That dog don't hunt.

Yeah...not even most KNOWN Covid cases result in a hospital stay.

It's highly likely that there are a massive number of Americans that dealt with this towards the early part of last year and just treated it like a typical cold and never got tested.

And I think it was released in China as early as October, so it was probably getting a lot of Americans sick in November-January when we didn't even know to test anyone.

My response would have been, “I’m full of antibodies now, so what difference does it make?”

Well, he doesn't need it now. He has natural immunity.

On the other hand, he could have avoided an ICU stay entirely if he weren't an inbred TD Poliboard antivaxxer in the first place.

Where is the CBS story demonizing those assholes on national TV?

Oh, that's right, there aren't any because they're too busy publishing articles about how morbidly obese people should be proud of how they look.

Except the guy in the video is a business owner who more than likely pays his taxes & has health insurance he pays for

Unlike the 1.8 million that has tax payers covering their health expenses

The guy in the video was admitted because he had COVID, which is the topic of the OP? Of course not every case leads to a hospitalization but it sure is trending upwards in the last few weeks.

I often wonder if Trump won, would the reaction to the vaccines have been flipped? Left refusing to get a rushed vaccine, Right seeing it as a patriotic duty to get it since we made it with American resources.

Every major leftist in national offices told you they wouldn't get the vaccine prior to the election, so yo don't need to wonder.
