I doubt there was more than 6 people on the bus including the driver.

That was one of the scams plaintiff attys & their clients got swept up in recently: a city bus rear ended & by the time NOPD arrived, 10-15 more "riders" were found outside the bus, claiming injuries. Bus drivers were involved in the scam, too.

CATS buses have stops in several random places in the middle of heavy traffic roads. People are going full speed, someone jerks over to the other lane to avoid sitting behind the bus and wham.

I know about the 18 wheeler part but this sounds like BS. All transit buses have interior and exterior cameras now so its impossible to say you were on the bus if you didn't board.
As a bonus bus cameras give us great videos like that bus driver uppercut from a few years ago.

That's the only saving grace. Otherwise bus accidents are winning lottery tickets for the passengers and plaintiff attorneys

The passengers are all going to say they are “injured”. Gordon will send the “injured” passengers and the bus driver to the Chiropractors on the Gordon McKernan payroll to drive medical bills up.
Next we’ll have inflated MRI bills showing the bus driver has herniated disks from being literally 350, oh but the truck that caused the accident, resulted in the disks to bulge, aside from being morbidly obese and immobile, day in and day out from sitting behind the wheel of a CATS bus.
