Casual observations - Walk-On's at Town Center

Been there twice in the past month, once to dine in and once to pick up food. That place has gotten seedy af.
The time we were seated we got up and left immediately. The AC was out and they were trying to circulate air with one of those floor dryers, wasn't working and it was totally gross. There was a film of moisture on the table, and all of the help was sweaty.
Yesterday I popped in to pick something up and the place was just filthy. I'm not sure if is any more or less filthy than usual only some idiot decided to replace all of the lights in the place with super harsh near-flourescent bulbs, kinda like a black light over a set of roach motel sheets. Mold all around every air vent on the ceiling
Too big too fast I guess, it's a shame as the food has gotten better over the years.

That location has always been trash. Easily some of the worst service I've ever had at a restaurant.

That’s the worst Walk Ons in town. I’m not sure how corporate hasn’t fired everyone and started over by now.

The mold on the air vent by the take out door has been there as long as I can remember. Pretty gross.

I am not a fan. The 2 times I have been, the service was less than stellar. One time, a friend and I sat at a booth near the bar that still had the plates/glasses from the party before us. It took them at least 15 minutes to finally buss it and at least 10 before a waitress acknowledged our presence.
And as for the wait staff....much of the staff doesn't belong in those cheerleader-looking uniforms that they wear. Sorry to be blunt and honest. Gals are too big/too tatted up.

The one Juban is clean and the layout is nice but the food is average at best

At this point it seems inherent in the location.
That particular site has been about 3-4 different sports bar / restaurant combos and it inevitably goes bust then gets replaced by something else.

that location has the absolute ugliest girls ive ever seen at a Walk Ons. last time I went our waitress looked like a blonde Olive Oyl
I was in the bathroom taking a piss and a busboy walked in. I said "bruh, why are the girls so hideous here? do they just send all the hot ones to Burbank?" he was like "oh man, they have the hot ones work at night."
I go back to the table and Olive comes back. She makes a comment about how slow it is and how she "hopes she makes more money tonight." I flag that busboy as he's walking by and say "you lied to me, she said she's working tonight" and he was like

I go there for lunch maybe twice a week and I never have any issues. Usually the same two girls are working behind the bar and they are pretty quick. Never been there later in the evening though.
I do miss the old burger place that used to be there though.

Have you been to the Chimes on Coursey lately? Took some out of town relatives Sat. and they were speechless on what BR has become since they moved from here years ago.

Yeah, the one in Covington isn't too bad the last time I went a while back.
Rumor has it one is going to be built in Hammond at Hammond Square. It will be packed with oxygen thieves for the first couple months it's open then nobody will bother with it after. Just like all the other fast casual restaurants in Hammond!
