It seems that as of late, the rust has become normalized on our naval vessels. To me it's infuriating.
It reminds me of how some people will continue to fly a tattered and faded American flag.
Our warships should be the pride and the terror of the seas, not sailing around looking like some third world, cut rate, second hand navy.
I sure hope we are about to see a huge reversal in the direction our armed forces seem to be going.

Lift mostly, i think. Those runways are relatively short for planes so they have to pull some shenanigans to get the planes to stop and go on such a short strip.

The Pentagon is loaded with Generals and Admirals that vote Democrat. They are paid, housed, and set up for life all paid by us the taxpayers. Why do you think over 90 percent of Washington DC votes Democrat on election night?

It was near Egypt. You can't get anywhere around there without being near another ship, at least as far as a CV and bulk carrier are concerned. Big commercial ships are single screw single rudder and have abysmal maneuverability. A nimitz carrier is a sports car by comparisons but still gigantic.
Its damned amazing that it doesn't happen more often. It doesn't make it ok, but it's not hard at all to envision it happening.
A strike group can't just open fire on any commercial vessel that gets inside of it, especially in any crowded waters.

What definition of liberal are you using? If using today’s with the role of big encroaching govt on daily lives, pro-homo, pro-trans, censorship, pro-abortion, men can have babies, anti-religious freedom, pro-hamas, and so on including all the rest of the crap we see by Dems I would say that’s a negatory.
If using liberal as it’s old school definition about pushing for change against the status quo and openness in things like markets versus the old school conservative which meant stay the same regardless of the same being capitalism or being communism then of course.

Exactly. Obama and Biden pushed politics including identity politics and loyalty to them for promotions over merit, and also started the indoctrination attempts about who was the enemy in our own country.
