All Californians who move to the southern states should be double taxed....for life.

It's an undeniable fact that California liberals have a well-earned reputation for committing political destruction wherever they land. Oregon. Washington. Colorado (partially). Resort areas of Montana. Austin, TX. Among others....That political ideology is a cancer.

If I were to move, it would have to be a place that has summers with a high average of less than 85°.

My favorite places are those where the mountains meet the sea.

Wait a minute. Hasn't Austin always been a mecca for those leaning left?

You've obviously yet to see our bumper stickers that read, "We don't give a damn how you did it up north."

They're everywhere.

But FL for example went from purple state to hard red because of, not in spite of a mass migration from blue states.

FL also went hard right because the Cubans and Venezuelans have seen real socialism first hand, and want nothing to do with those policies.

The Yankees depend on “clipboard” or bureaucratic jobs. The south forgets about the wealth concentration in certain parts of the country because they don’t see it on a daily basis. And they can’t have ne’er-do-well junior living in the backyard whack-off shed forever playing call of duty.

We've become such a mobile country that it kind of feels like almost every desirable area will be the same in 30 years.

Open Borders Policy doesn't just apply to nation states. Soros stated years ago that it applied to regions within countries and he and Berkshire Hathaway's Warren Buffet committed to disintegrating the Southern Culture. Black Rock, et al, joined-in and it's almost done.

Pretty much.

I have liked the Carolinas whenever I have been there, be it going through the Research Triangle or in the western part of the state. Everyone flocking there means it is probably not going to be worth moving to by the time I would be able to consider it.

The Carolinas are great states. Love the coastal beaches and the inland hills. Beautiful part of the country.

This unfortunately doesn't surprise me. Developers are chopping down every tree on every plot of land that's left to stack bullshite houses on top of each other.

This is happening everywhere and depressing as hell

Not to this extent.

Once the hippie movement showed up, it because a leftist enclave. Beautiful area with a lot to offer- but the politics are "far out, man...."
