shite’s been around for about 5 years but I see it multiple times a day. Bunch of damn suburbanites spending $25k to fix up $2,500 late 90s/early 00s suburbans and silverados so they can throw on salt life tees they paid too much for at Palmetto Moon and cosplay as a country boy while hanging out in Target parking lot.

And to think I’m doing everything in my power to stop the back end sag in my new truck while pulling a trailer

I will never understand why people enjoy making perfectly good trucks look like they are hauling a pallet of concrete blocks.

I live in NC. Some times, I think I’m a better person and live in a more sophisticated state than when I used to live in my beloved Mississippi...then one of these Crackers roll by...and I realize... Jesus H, you can’t escape it. NC red necks are trash compared to good ol MS rednecks.

I believe the official term is the “carolina lean”

There is no official term for it besides "da frick is that".
It's in Ascension Parish LA and Green Bay Wisconsin and on every coast.

That’s a ‘Cali Lift’

If I had to guess, I'd assume it started there. Desert racing is pretty popular.

Though these trucks are actually built this way to perform, not pose.

I can’t wait for five dollar fuel. It is the only way the scum gets off the road.

I have yet to see this but it's quite possibly the dumbest fricking thing I've ever seen. Possibly dumber than lifting a 4x2 truck.

I mean, I get why you'd want to lift a 4x4 for clearance as long as it's not obnoxious. This so called squat is just atrocious.

By the downvoting, I’m guessing I’ve offended some baws that are rocking this look.

I think it’s more people that hate the look and are downvoting it. That’s what I did at least

I'm sure they all install shitty light kits and now they're pointed up at drivers instead of down towards the road. So fricking stupid what we let people get away with on their vehicles.

Toyota started lifting their 4x2 Tacoma’s at the factory. Remember when they used to have the low rider 4x2’s? Now they are all the same height. It certainly looks better at the present height, but I’m sure it helped having the consistent suspension components from a mfg standpoint as well.

One has to wonder when insurers will start denying coverage for unsafe modification idiocy. And quite frankly I am tired of my rates going up despite having never made a claim. I guess I’m the risk generator seeing as my car has tires with tread and brakes that work. All this easy credit has just allowed more and more losers access to to the roads.

You assume these people would actually do work. These aren’t farmers or even rednecks seeking to mud ride. They’re southern douchebags looking for attention who rarely get off the highway and have too much money to blow
