I suffer from Black Fatigue, too. Then again, I live in Louisiana. I wonder what it’s like in other states that are closer to the 13% national average instead of the 33% we have here.

Still, why? What's appealing about spending that amount of money to be confined for days?

It’s basically the Vegas Strip on the water.

Yep. I have enjoyed the Haven before. I disembark from a NCL cruise (not in Haven this time) in Seattle today and won't be going on NCL anymore. This ship was 50% jeets. Truly a smelly and rude people. And I'm not talking about the workers, that's whatever. 50% of the customers.

We cruised NCL twice in the last few years. Both times The Haven. Amazing experience the first time. Second time was a similar experience to yours. They were high in numbers and with means but annoying behavior such as letting all of their toddlers splash and jump in the adult Haven pool.

I probably won’t go on a cruise again save for maybe a small exclusive line.

Some cruises are not like the others. Everything is luxury without crowds. You're not confined for days. There are private luxury beach parties. Shopping. Lots of time at The Baths on Virgin Gorda. There are two overnight stays anchored in St. Barts. Again, I've never been, but there are no concerns after looking at the itinerary.

Assuming he doesn’t mean crypto traders who are prone to sell, I think the “it’s short for pajeet” should convey his meaning

cruising carnival out of NOLA
back when carnival first started cruising out of New Orleans a friend of mine started a company to staff the embark/debark process at the terminal. We hired and trained and then staffed the terminal to get people and luggage on and off. This was right before Katrina 2004ish. Even back then it was a majority black crowd and they couldn’t even behave in the terminal; I can’t imagine what it must be like on the ship and fortunately I will never find out in person

As so many others have pointed out, simple rules to ensure safety and comfort for all passengers are immediately described as racist because the behavior they are trying to curb is predominantly black behavior. And it’s hilarious to me that the black community self identifies with these policy changes because they know they behave badly and they don’t care. They don’t see a problem with it and that’s…the problem

NCL is 1 billion percent better than Carnival

We've been on two cruises. The first was on Carnival several years ago. It was OK, but I had no real desire to go back. A lot of my reasoning was some of what these rules seem to be about. This year, we went on an NCL cruise to Alaska, and I must say it was a very different experience. We are thinking about trying NCL again for another destination, we liked it that much. I compare it to the difference between shopping for clothes at Walmart versus Dillard's.

Idiots like her are why people hate that culture. I know some really awesome black people that I truly love.

That bitch can go away forever.

Nailed it. Its goes in line with how some people say waking up on time, not being late and choosing healthy foods are classified as white privilege. They don’t take the time to learn and abide to these basic human concepts

People pay big for entertainment! And especially to float around for a week eating and drinking all day. And carnival owns other cruise lines; they aren’t going anywhere.

I’m at a resort now and I’ve got to say I’m about done with them. Too many got damn people everywhere

The Middle class started the process of ruining travel and, now that it's even cheaper, so goes travel.

Everywhere. The only way to avoid it is to avoid popular places... and then what's the point? Even "out if the way" places arent "out if the way."

Or pay a lot of money.

Planes. Hotels. Resorts. Everything. Everywhere. It just sucks. No unique experiences without loads of people.

Travel has got to be the number 1 reason people don't have savings in this country. Everyone is traveling all of the time. I think a kid leaving the country on a trip was super rare in the 70s and 80s. You never heard that, even in upper middle class private schools.

Now? You don't get on a plane without 4 or 5 families taking a vacation. How the heck do people travel so much?

It’s weird to think that if a certain group of people weren’t here, there would be a need for certain rules.

People call it racism but it’s actually in truth just using reason.

Once a certain group comes into a area it’s not long before that area looks and smells and sounds like shite.
- Rap music blaring in the neighborhoods, Gas stations, or social events.
- Trash starts to appear everywhere and it’s nothing to clean their car out at a red light .
- Crime goes up, places thst for years had zero murders or rapes, etc. becomes the norm to have them every year.

The only thing that changed was the demographic of the people who live there.

Good. Carnival Cruise seems to have catches the jungle fever fatigue. Hopefully more business follow suit. Just wonder if the rims4rent or hair gel companies gonna do the same.

You mustn't have been on a Carnival cruise in a while. We went in April and there was nothing watered down about the drinks. Hell I had a whiskey and Pepsi and if I wouldn't have seen them put the Pepsi in, I wouldn't have believed there was anything except whiskey.
