Hopefully he's got his meds adjusted and will no longer feel surrounded by liars and cowards.

What's the end game with this request? Does anyone truly think the NOPD is going to step aside in this case and publicaly say they're not competent to present the evidence to the district attorney?

The answer here is simply "NO". The request was nothing but smoke and mirrors to plant the seed of doubt in hopes of getting his guilty client off on a lesser charge.

4LSU2 - I think you are correct with the attorney attempting to plant the seed of doubt. But, as Hayes attorney, isn't it his job to plant as many seeds of doubt as possible or use every legal maneuver to try and get his client acquitted?

Hayes' attorney is playing chess on these mofos. They are going to decline his request and his inference that there is a cover up becomes stronger. It's a win win for the defense.

How does denying the request make the inference of a cover up stronger? Not being ugly; honest question. I'd have thought if the LSP had taken the case that would have made it stronger.

New Video

Anyone seen this new video? It doesn't seem like Smith brake checked him like some expected.

What does that have to do with Smith being shot in the back 8 times until he lived consumed oxygen?

.

What are you even saying? I'm just bringing up the fact that Hayes in fact rammed Smith. Some speculated that Smith may have brake checked Hayes.

If this part is indeed true (just as I have suspected all along), Hayes will never see freedom again.

quote:

I guess this guy was like, 'Get out of here or I have a gun,'" the witness says, without saying who said what. "And he goes, 'F___ y'all, I got one too.' And he grabs the gun and then he shoots him in the back. He's dead."

Looks like Hayes slammed on his brakes because Smith slammed on his. Cars were stopped in front of them.
