Ceravalo is retired from NOPD, but is still a Reserve officer, and he may have been back to the scene before any tape went up.

I don't see him being on scene as a problem. If he was tampering with evidence, that's a huge problem.

F#ck Cardell Hayes. NOLA needs to make an example out of this thug.
Let him rot in jail and let that hole get reamed.

His actions last Saturday night left three children without their father for the rest of their lives, not to mention Hayes' child/ children. A life sentence at Angola does not seems right to me. I'm more for death execution style, the same way he killed Smith. I'd first shoot him in both of his legs and let the pain simmer a few minutes before slowly popping rounds through his back until his lifeless body is left in the streets. With my plan, I'd make this a public spectacle to teach the youth what happens when you decide to pull the trigger on a loaded firearm to settle an argument.

as criticized the NOPD for initially saying only one gun — the one used to kill Smith — was confiscated at the shooting scene.

NOPD did screw up early here.

Don't you think you should know the facts before you stage a lynching?

Why wait for the facts when you can wish death upon a man that killed a Saint?! He was a Saint, dammit!

Don't over complicate this crap.
1. thug killed smith by shooting 7 times in the back
2. thug shot smith's wife twice
3. thug should rot in jail

No one else on the scene last Saturday put 7 rounds in Smith's back, nor did they put a couple in Mrs. Smith's leg. So yes, only his actions.

One shooter and one murdered. He's guilty by every law of the land. Fuller is simply planting the seed of doubt in an attempt to get a manslauter conviction so his murdering client doesn't rot in jail. The rotting jail part does not sit well with me as a tax paying resident of the state of LA.

I guess you've flip flopped again this morning. It was just yesterday that you posted he would "go to the farm". The fricker is guilty as guilty can be.

I don't care that the victim was a former Saint. I've lost more money on the Saints over the last fifteen years than I care to remember. I do care that an innocent man was killed in cold blood and feel he should pay for his actions.

No he isn't, which is why, you know, he's going to trial and has a right to defend his actions, you simple minded rube.

And that trial will confirm what we all know. Guilty of second degree murder, life at Angola without parole.

i've never flipped flopped from my main point; lets see all the facts then judge.

there are too many things out there so say he is absolutely guilty of murder. its sad you are that simple minded. I hope you never have to defend your own life in this manner.

his own lawyer said he was out of the car. His body was found slumped in the front seat, his legs were still on the ground, more than likely reaching for a gun

this is a solid update
