Cars that are designed to have Xenon/HID aren't the problem. It's the people with halogen housings going around installing Xenon/HID bulbs in them.
Old cars with 8000k/10000k/12000k lights are a sad joke.
All this. Projector housings are designed to "cut off" a certain pattern. Halogen housings cannot do this. The PD have the ability to issue tickets if they are trained on how to spot this. But usually they are too busy shooting dogs and harassing ethnic groups.

Not only are they bright, but it appears that the pussification of America has reached the point that people no longer know how to point them, either.

Agree. I've never understood why car companies nowadays think it's a good idea to blind every vehicle you meet. I personally want oncoming traffic to not be blinded.... Tends to lessen the chance of a wreck.
What kind of lights do you guys run in your Vespa club?

Was just telling my wife this a week ago. Glad to know it's just not me. Sounds bad but I think they almost do need to regulate them.. Not to mention when a cop has his blues rolling at night, blinds you for a mile in either direction

It seems like every arse hole who feels the need to lift his truck doesn't adjust their headlights accordingly

I want to know why Obama is not out there fake crying about these bright lights.
Much like Mark Richt, Obama has lost control.

Which means you need to adjust your headlights. You can't lift the entire front end of your truck and not expect the lights to follow.

I think it was worse about 5 years ago and has gotten slightly better.

Same thing goes for those bright arse lights cops use on their units as well.
This. Most newer cop cars have the ability to control whether the lights are on in the front, back, or both, but even then, they're fricking out of control at night. That blue is piercing and you basically have to drive 100 yards while blind.
On the other hand, I drive a later model SUV and although the lights are stock and I never use my high beams, people flash me fairly often at night. I won't flash my highballs back at them unless they repeatedly do it to me, but I'm not going to go out of my way to change them for someone either.

Keep your old arse off the road

My ex-wife in residence makes me pull over when a truck or car is behind us with the new bright lights. When the car or truck passes, we pull back out.

If you have a leveling kit on your truck, you may need to adjust your headlights. The angle is more than likely blinding on coming traffic

OEM lights are awesome.
Cops have shitty, bright lights as do the numbnuts that put $29.95 HID lights in their two gen old Chevy/Ford trucks.

If you get flashed that often then your lights are probably aimed too high. If that is the case you can adjust them, no need to change them.
