I haven't found that to be the case at all. He knows all of the details on landing the aircraft.

Go watch all his initial takes in the 787 in India. He's not particularly respected in the aviation enthusiast area from what I gather.

I like Captain Steve because of how butthurt him and his 1+ million followers make people. The guy is making youtube videos for laypeople, who cares.

The bigger question:

If you are riding in a car and a plane runs off the runway and kills you. Are you considered "killed in a plane crash?"

OK. If your car runs into a plane, are you killed in a car crash? Does it matter if the plane is parked or rolling?

I am trying to figure out the delineation here. This happened between two vehicles rolling on the ground. It's not like people killed in a plane that flys into the Earth.

The bad part is that if you happen to survive you're fricked because you stupidly didn't get the airplane crash rider on your insurance.
