There's only one thing good about Montgomery Al, and that is Jubilee Seafood.

Whoever mentions Lincoln, Sacramento, OKC, and Springfield is full of shite. Don't confuse boring with ghetto and dilapidated.

Never did I feel the need to hold my wallet close and walk fast in those cities.

I live in Madison, the suburb of Jackson. Jackson is a shithole BUT Pierre, Harrisburg, Trenton, Frankfort and Salem are all worse.

In fact I'd take Salem in a shitty contest. A Methodist church is the tallest building.

Topeka is the worst I've ever been to.

Topeka is pretty bad. It's like the 80's were there and are now gone, but they left all their empty strip malls behind. The only redeeming quality that I have seen in that place is an old, run down, Russian deli. Cash only, but some of the best cold cuts I've ever had.

Hartford, CT is probably the worst I've had the pleasure of visiting. They have a 31.2% poverty rating and there is very little to see or do within the city proper.

And their women are atrocious

Providence RI, and as someone said Hartford ct, and Trenton NJ, BTR has it's issues, but we are not near the bottom in this list....

I haven't spent a ton of time there, but I kind of liked Providence whenever I visited.

It's about an hour or so away from me, but I never really have a reason to go.

Jackson has to be at the top or near the top of that list. Other than the Millsaps area, the city is utterly devoid of beauty. I don't think anything could help Jackson. Baton Rouge is trying at least, or has been under Kip Holden. There are so many beautiful parts of BR. The horrible infrastructure and crime are its biggest faults. BR has a ton of potential yet to be realized. I'd like to see the new mayor address the litter and blight problems, but she seems preoccupied with trying to fire the chief of police and replacing sitting city officials with race-baiting sycophants.

I've spent time in Salem. It's very small, but very pleasant and clean at least west of I-5. There is a college in town, and plenty of of attractive women.

IMO it's nicer than most larger capitals. Doesn't have an airport or very many amenities though.

I guess it just threw me off as terribly small.

Salem isn't bad. Now if you are talking small, that would be Juneau. We don't have a road connecting us outside
