Canton ,Ohio Mckinley football player to sue district

This story may make national news very soon but ill give it to my southern homies early . Canton Mckinley(Canton,Ohio) ( famed high school football program ) were conducting workouts and a player said he didnt want to lift ,run whatever .Coaches asked why and he said;bc" i dont feel like it " .So, they made him sit in the corner and eat pizza while the others worked out .Turns out ,kid is Muslim ,pizza had pork on it, and his family is now suing the district .That is the biggest news happening in good ole Canton,Ohio . The WOKE are here too

I find it hard to believe anyone forced that kid to eat anything, much less pork in violation of his religious belief system.

This isn't really a standard WOKE situation really, it's not about gender pronouns or systemic racism. It's a family looking to get rich by suing someone, which sadly is as American as it gets.
If the kid said "I can't eat pork because I'm muslim" I'm sure the coaches would not have made him. Even dumbass high school football coaches aren't that stupid.
So I doubt they have much of a case, but will probably get "go away" money anyway because, well, that's what America does.

This is stupid. Why not just kick him off the team?
As for the "no pork" aspect of the story... I know a LOT of Muslims that live here, and a lot that travel here from the middle east... most, not all, but most enjoy eating pork dishes when they are here. And damn near all of them love their alcohol. Especially Saudis.

I had a Hindu guy ask me what pepperoni was made out of because he didn't want to eat beef. I told him I thought it was pork. He still didn't eat it just in case. Seems easy to avoid taboo foods with a little self restraint.

Have a Muslim buddy that does the same with "blended" meats like sausage. It isn't hard to avoid pork.

I'm surprised he didn't get run out on a rail at a program like McKinley. They don't usually frick around with anything that could hurt their football program.

Thats the "old" Canton Mckinley .While still a winning program ,not the powerhouse it was in the past .
