My wife and I were getting the house ready for our annual Christmas party on Tuesday and she went and grabbed us Jimmy John’s for a quick lunch.
2 sandwiches, 2 chips, 2 pickles - $28

If you don’t get fries or a drink, the classic chicken sandwich at Wendy’s is only $6.70 with tax.
Save the money and better yet the empty calories by not getting fries or a soft drink.

You aren't stupid. You can learn to cook. Air fryered chicken tenderloins with a dipping sauce are well within your abilities.
Your children can learn to be proud of things they know how to make (and the chemicals they can leave out by cooking from scratch.)
Explain to them that once they eat a $20 meal, it's only going to come out the other end. Eat a PB&J sandwich and they have 19 dollars towards their future.

Yea but Cane's just seems especially egregious. They've not only jacked up prices to an absurd amount seemingly every 6 months, but also been lowering portion sizes on top of it.

I almost like the high prices. The food is out faster. It’s always a great experience. Just an enjoyable place. Whereas other fast food joints are awful experience and trash gmo food to a nameless investment group owner.
