It’s the 25th anniversary, they just really sucked at advertising that.

Yea, I didn't get what it was. Not the best of execution but I've been there

Celebrating the 25th aniversary is still pretty damn random. None of the cups or posters do a good job of letting you know what’s going on

Didn't they have a Christmas Vacation promotion a few years ago? That was kinda random too.

Their marketing department needs an overhaul of that was supposed to be a 25th anniversary thing. I just thought they were out of ideas and paid to tie themselves to a popular movie

Have you hard the Pandora version of it? If I have it on in the background, I jump out of my skin when the mom screams. It's like nails on a chalkboard.

It has to do with the type of stuffed dog they give out.

I actually saw a flaw on one of their posters. It's a wanted poster for the "Wet Bandits".
The were not the wet bandits in HA2, they were the sticky bandits.

Last year was Elf. Year before was Christmas Story. They always do a movie for their Christmas theme.

I’m no marketing guru but the fact that it holds enough stopping power in your head to make you think and then act by starting this thread, engaging more folks, and brand name dropping means it was quite effective.

Are they selling dvds? The commercial was confusing.

Not even the better Home Alone. The picked the shittier of the two Home Alones. I can't wait for next year's Hangover 3 promotion.

I didn't understand if they were poking fun by picking kind of a crappier Christmas movie or if they were actually promoting this super old movie, I was confused as well
