My wife is in clinical research. No sick people involved. She can wear "regular" clothes or scrubs. If she wakes up early enough... regular. If doesn't have time... scrubs.
But she runs after work, so always has a change of clothes.

Um, sounds like the perfect reason. That person's spouse was probably on their arse to make it in time. No one is going to wear dirty scrubs out. What about the receptionist at the office that wears scrubs? She doesn't get her clothes dirty any different than you do sitting in your office.

Wife works in surg hospital, possibly the healthiest place in town. No one sick can have surgery. Much healthier than shaking hands with some jackass that just took a dump.

I cannot fault them for wearing scrubs. I wear my pajamas out all the time, and if I look down on them I would have to re-examine my life.

Eh, I'm around a lot of physicians and future docs and I don't know any of them that go out in public in scrubs. If they do come out to meet us wearing scrubs, it isn't somewhere public like a bar and they definitely aren't on call drinking in a bar.

I had a roommate in school that wore scrubs out all the time...he was a general studies major. His dad was a dentist, so he felt entitled to wear them out to restaurants, bars, even class. He admitted he used it to pick up dumb women.
I think he's now getting an MBA somewhere and probably still wears scrubs out. I guess it gave him a needed level of confidence...?

You know, some people just find scrubs comfortable. Both of my parents work in medicine, so I grew up with scrubs. I don't work in the medical field, but have a few pairs that I wear occasionally. And that included the to the gym. Some of yall are trying way too hard to judge someone's intention based on clothes. I thought only teenage girls did that...
